A minor detail here: label table can have multiple extent blocks (each
extent block holds upto 20 extents).  Giving the fact that each label table
extent must be exactly .75 MB, just 20 extents would severely limit the
number of files we can have on a disk.
 
However, those label table extent blocks are "magic" extent blocks.  They
are reserved for "magic" files (hidden system files) only and there is
a very limited supply of them.
 
Stan is right that all label table extents must be on the same disk.
Otherwise, we may not be able to map in a label table if other disks are
not mounted!
