Hi Tony,

       This with reference to your posting attached below. I tried
 the same sequence of commands as stated by you, and was able to
 STORE and VSTORE without any I/O error. I used DDS 2 tape drive.

    If you were using a DDS tape drive too, then I hope the problem
 is not with your tape drive. If it is not a DDS tape drive then
 could you tell us the kind of media used ?

    Please feel free to get back to us in case of any problems
 related to the "STORE/RESTORE/VSTORE" commands.
