hi all!
i'm wondering if there's a workaround to a limitation in
finfo. here's the problem i'm running into:
=============
IXH:echo ![finfo("../SYSCMD/STARTRSQ","fmtfopt")]
^
An error occurred while accessing the file for FINFO. (CIERR
9984)
=============
what's the problem?
=============
IXH:listfile ../SYSCMD/STARTRSQ,2
PATH= /SYS/SYSCMD/
CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE----
FILENAME
SIZE TYP EOF LIMIT R/B SECTORS #X MX
1B BAL 20 1024 1 16 1 *
STARTRSQ
=============
finfo is 'upset' because 'startrsq' is a link. since we're
going to have to live with this limitation....is there a
workaround available? preferably one that doesn't involve
parsing listfile output....? - d
