I absolutely love the styling of the Ford Ka (specifically the Sport
Ka!)
It's a great looking car and I can only hope Ford would import it to the
US.

I even went so far ask to ask Ford if they know of anyone who can import
one to the US.
They even replied(!) that some group down in (IIRC) Virginia can perform
an import of one.
I'll have to dig up that email... With the gas prices going up and up.
Also, my "cah" is getting a little long in the tooth (1990 Jetta
Wolfsburg.)
I'm going to have to give it some serious though.

Try for a Ford Ka. It's tiny, it's stylish, it's nippy, it gets great
gas mileage, but it will accommodate a 6' 3" driver if need be.

And it you are worried about being tailgated by some enormous SUV, just
keep the aerial angled low, and it should go straight over the top :-)
