Some of you remember my ranting last week on the timelessness of trying to
get a propriterory power supply for my HP Pavilion. The unit had to be small
enough to fit in the box - I ordered it May 30th and was told to call the
following Monday to get a delivery time.

Well, they gave me a time of June 26th - and I was a bit POed, to say the
least. A month to get a critical component that had a known failure history.

After my rants on both the this list and another low & behold the power
supply
came in last Thursday; 2 weeks early.

I suspect someone helped me; I just don't know who and would like to say
thanks.

The Pavilion is back up & running!
