We had a series 922 with a subsequent board upgrade to a 932. We added a
SCSI card (not FW, not supported on 932) and external SCSI disks and
converted one of them to LDEV 1, no problems...

Stan replys:

92x covers a lot of ground: 920, 922, 925, 927, and 928 .

The 925 firmware didn't allow booting from a SCSI disk.
(I've heard rumors that you can get a firmware upgrade that allows it.)

I'm not sure about 920 and 922 & SCSI.

A 927/928 can boot from SCSI no problem (and were probably
shipped with an internal SCSI drive).
