*Most definitely* check with Cognos and make sure you are sitting down when
you get their quote.  About 18 months ago Cognos was offering 'user based
licensing' which was making 'upgrade pains' somewhat bearable.  I just found
out that they are *not* offering it any more. I'm also waiting, sitting down,
for their quote since we are contemplating getting a 969 box.
