I can't suggest a solution, but I'm very interested in this problem as we
also run Expert with a 509D version of Powerhouse and are about to upgrade
to MPE/iX 5.0 next week. Expert isn't supported anymore by Cognos and we've
been experimenting with Image SQL and ODBC connections to PC-based MS Access
databases to fill the need for user reporting. But we were hoping to hang
onto Expert for as long as possible. We have to go ahead with the upgrade
so I'll let you know the results.
