"CUPERTINO, Calif., Mar 19 (Reuters) - Hewlett-Packard Co (NYSE:HWP - news)
Chief Executive Carly Fiorina said on Tuesday that the company would
identify most of the jobs to be eliminated after its planned purchase of
Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE:CPQ - news) in the first three quarters after
the merger closed.

``I would suspect that we would have the bulk of the positions'' to be
eliminated identified within the first six to nine months of the combined
company's operations, HP Chief Executive Carly Fiorina told reporters at a
news conference ..."
