The editor I use for any PC work now is vim (www.vim.org). It's
basically vi if you like vi, and full-screen if you like full-screen.
It has numerous syntax files for popular languages like C, Perl, etc.
I'm sure there's a COBOL one also (does auto-indent, color syntax
highlighting, etc).
