Mark - it really depends on what you are trying to do ... DataExpress provides
a very robust solution with its ODBCLink option and supports ODBC as well as
ADO and ASP access to data on the HP3000 - IMAGE, KSAM and MPE files ... you
need to know how much data you are going to present at a time and how many
records would you have to read to select it - a 6 million record read even with
the best the HP3000 has to offer will still yield too much hourglass time.

There may be security issues - in the world of open systems you still don't
want "open systems".

Several of the customers have combined either Cold Fusion from Allaire or
MS-IIS on an NT platform to deliver webification of application data within 2
weeks ...
