The more the better! I just attended a conference in Orlando on HP
performance and they gave a formula chart on how to determine memory
requirements:
MPEix Operating System 37MB
Network Software 18MB
Number of concurrent users X 5MB
Job Limit X 8MB
Total Disk Space X 1%
(1GB = 1,024MB)
Example Using the Formula:
MPEix Operating System 37MB
Network Software 18MB
85 users X 5MB 425MB
7 X 8MB Job Limit 56MB
24 GB Disk Space X 1% 246MB
(1GB = 1,024MB)
Total Optimal Main Memory Configuration = 782MB
