I agree, everbody should/could learn alot in these briefings specially in
such a long period of time.

Here I strongly disagree. Everybody in a democracy should have a big problem
with "loosing or forgetting" votes. Next time the republicans loose, you bet
that want a re-count.
The question is, why and how does it happen?
How can the US send people to elections in other countries, when they can
not count their own votes correctly? Is there a lack of knowledge what a
real democracy is?
The question is not only who won and who lost but was the count correct.

By the way: I can not vote in Germany next week because I now live in the US
and of course can not vote in the US because I am German.
No-win-situation :-(
