Hmmm. I guess that 128 is just a VPLUS limit, not a terminal limit.
So one might -if the need for more input fields is really pressing-
try using VTURNOFF, doing a screen in "user block/format mode" and
then returning to regular VPLUS with VTURNON.

Just a wild idea! Haven't tried this myself. I'm not a VPLUS expert.
