O learned ones....
 
We are using the HP3000 telnet to connect to a Sun that would like us to
 be a vt100 terminal.  To that end, we set our Reflection 1/DOS to vt100
before we log onto the HP.
 
However, the HP3000 is transmitting a "hp" terminal type to the Sun.  A
look through the telnet/iX manual did not shed any light on the subject.
 Also a :SHOWVAR @ did not show any terminal type that we could set.
 
Any ideas?
