I'm having problems with 5.5 PowerPatch2 today.

First, my existing Patch/iX A.00.01 chokes when trying to restore the patch
description files.  So then I have to manually restore A@,D@,F@,[log in to unmask]
and re-run Patch/iX which is now A.00.05.  I've seen this before, no big deal.

Second, the "create stage" part fails.  Examination of STAGELOG.INSTALL.SYS
shows that all individual files are staged OK, but the "validate" fails
because no "complete" is being done.

Grumble grumble grumble....

So I switch and generate a CSLT tape instead of a stage.  UPDATE then
START NORECOVERY.  Do phase2.  Install job I00I152A (the :STORE fixer) chokes
because somebody forgot to use :CONTINUE before the :COPY of STORXL51 and
STORXL52.  Since my subsys tape only has STORXL52 and not STORXL51, the job
chokes before STORXL52 can be copied into place.  Manually copy STORXL52 into
place.

GRUMBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE.....

I've just opened an HPRC call.

Has anybody else tried to install PP2 yet?  Did you use Stage/iX or a CSLT?
