Exactly, Larry.  Only those folks have their heads burried so deeply in the
sand that they are evidently incapable of hearing reality (didn't realize
sand was such an effective sound-deadener).  We've tried to explain what
damage this can (and will) do - but compliance appears to be more critical
than being able support our customers.
I'm so utterly and totally frustrated by this that I'm giving myself an
ulcer.  You know things are counter-productive when the general solution is
'let the stuff break to prove the point'.  I just don't know how to stop
caring about doing a good job (which translates into zero field impact).
