I believe the formal answer is:
"There has never been a documented virus on the HP3000 outside a
laboratory."
Emphasis on "never".
And if it weren't for an experiment with HPWord about 20 years ago in a
lab, the part about "outside a laboratory" would not have been said.
I also believe this has been mentioned before on this list several
times, one can search the Archive of this list.
