Hi,

I have done all the setup for Apache on an HP 3000 by reading web docs
and old postings to this list. I can not find out why, now that I got
it running, it never finishes loading my documents. The browser never
considers the document fully loaded...

The documents were ftped to the HP 3000 from our current NT web server
and they all show up as type VB and size 128W on the listfile listing.
I have tried to alter the file type and record size as I have transfered
them over. Even when they are FA, 80B and I have done my best to edit
the file and make sure each record is less than 80, I still get the same
symtoms.

I have to admit I am rusty on the HP 3000 and what I am doing is playing
with a series 948 which is a hand me down from another department. The
last version of the OS put on the 948 was a clean install of 5.5 by me.
I have since gotten it on the network and tried SAMBA (I'm having
trouble with this also...) and now APACHE.

INETD handles the Telnet connections, I stream jftpstrt.arpa.sys to
start ftp. Both FTP and TELNET are working.

I think it has something to do with file types... Any advice (even
where to read more on HP specific APACHE) would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Michael Case
