Last Thursday, Steve asked...
anyone know of a vi port to win95? (or something that will help me match up
my curly braces, brackets & parentheseses (parenthesi?)?)

While I haven't actually _used_ it myself,
a couple of years ago I had a quick look at:

Elwin 2.0 Heavy duty programmer's text editor, like VI
WINDOWS MAY95 EDITOR ELWIN VI UNIX TEXT SPEXEDIT
FILES: elwin205.zip

Author: Kevin Donn
Registration: $50.00

Elwin is a professional quality programmer's text editor for
Windows based on the Unix VI editor. It supports most of the
VI and colon-mode EX command set including sophisticated
regular expression search and replace facilities. It also
supports the expected simplicity of the Windows system.
Elwin features an MDI interface with up to 50 files per
instance, session memory per project directory, files up to 2
million lines, lines up to 2K bytes, retention of Unix format
for use with NFS, and much more. There is no finer VI
emulation for Windows, and it keeps getting better!
