Holy California Almond !!! It sounds like you REALLY know this area. I can't
thank you enough for
the information. I was just lucky enough to fall into this position and is
only one of perhaps a thousand
Résumé's I have sent out for various HP3000 jobs since January of this year.
I use DICE almost
exclusively in my job searches as they usually contain at least 25-50 HP3000
related positions at any
given time.

You definitely peaked my interest regarding the pumpkin chunkin contest.
I've seen it on TV a time or two.
I'm sure there must be a HP3000 there being used to factor windage, velocity
and arc, etc (probably Wirt's
area of expertise (i.e. the flight of experimental flying saucers in New
Mexico)).
