Well.... we used to use HP Media exclusively... but have switched to
Maxell... HP seems to use KAO and "NoName" tapes when sending out patch
tapes and FOS tapes... So, I don't think there is any reason to recommend HP
media...
Funny note tho' ... I did get a RC engineer who said that the reasons I was
having with my DDS-3 drive registering the write enabled status of a
particular tape was that I wasn't using HP media... I then pointed out that
I was trying to load a Patch tape that HP had sent me... and that I couldn't
help that they had sent me a KAO tape! hehe
