Hello Tracy !
As far as I remember, a cleaning cartridge NEVER gets rewinded. So, when it
reaches the end (you can look from the "window" on cassette, it's "full of
dirt". When you insert a "fully used" cleaning cartridge in a drive, it
gets ejected immediately...
