Can someone please point me in the right direction for setting up
Samba/iX for use with laser printesr on our WinNT network?
I have Samba/iX installed. Our administrative servers can access shares
on the HP3000 and I have been able to get some "garbage" to flow from
the HP3000 to a LaserJet 5p hung off of another NT Server.
The text that is printed is not formatted properly. And I was also
looking for a little more streamlined print procedure through the POSIX
shell. We run MANMAN-HP and are stuck with identifying LDEV numbers for
our printer output. I can write a program to get the spooled file from
the psuedo LDEV queue to the smbclient program to send it over, if
necessary. The formatting is the problem I have.
Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
Best Regards,
Roby
