If you would like to see a nice animated GIF of the 100-foot asteroid that
came within 26,000 miles of Earth (1/10th the distance to the moon) yesterday,
please see:

     http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/images/2004fh.gif

The animation was assembled by Raoul Behrend, Geneva Observatory,
Switzerland. While the asteroid was close, if it had hit the Earth, it very likely would
have simply disappeared in the atmosphere as a large sonic boom, with only
tiny fragments striking the ground.
