Eero responds to my question about acquiring the VI editor for MPE/iX 4.0:
 
  I would suggest you to post the question in internet (or maybe mail directly
  to Steve Elmer of CSY lab) - on how to get a version of VI that runs without
  posix on 4.0 systems.  I think Steve is a good bet.
 
Steve - I hope your listening...  Can I acquire a copy of the VI full-screen
editor for my MPE/iX 4.0 machines?  If so, what files/patches do I need? Do
I obtain these from the Response Center?
