I finally figured it out!!!!!!!!!

I was reading that Ruth Handler, co-founder of Mattel and inventor of the
Barbie doll, had passed away at 85.

Nearly every girl had a Barbie (or 2 or 3), and many, many girls wanted to
grow up to be Barbie.

Then it hit me..... Carly STILL wants to be Barbie, and after the
introduction of the Barbie laser printer a few years ago, when she came to
HP, she thought she was becoming the head Barbie!

That partially explains why she is getting out of software (and services)
and direct-to-customer sales, and pursuing a strategy of putting out
products that are sold through general retail outlets like WalMart.

Wait 'til she discovers that Compaq doesn't make those cute little compacts
that women use when powdering their noses!

Oh, well. Next acquisition: Mattel!
