I don’t recall ever seeing a single console prompt due to MESSAGE,
but it will generate a *lot* of output (much more than terminal memory
on a real terminal).  IIRC a thousand or two lines are usually generated.
A Reflection session with memory configured to the max will work,
and/or with logging to disk enbled.

Or, since little to nothing of the bootup uses HP terminal escape
sequences, you could telnet in from a Mac Terminal window …
I’ve had a quarter of a million lines in one of them!
(Assuming Terminal is configured (Preferences) to have scrollback memory
’limited to available memory’ as opposed to a specific numebr of lines.)

On Reflection, I always configure Display memory to the max (999 blocks, IIRC).
