Just FYI, and this does not answer the question... BUT:

   One can stop logging that information.
   Go into the logging screens of NMMGR, and do f1, Next Screen till
   you get to screen 5, which has SNMP logging and change Console Logging
   to N for Informational messages.  You may want to do the same for
   Warnings also.

This doesn't fix the underlying problem, but it will clean up the console
messages.
