Marc,

First I presume that you have the ftp server job JFTPSTRT.ARPA.SYS
running?

Secondly, with Security/3000, you may need to configure it to allow
"network logons", which includes ftp access.  Refer to that section
in the manual.  We have set up a user which is only for ftp logins,
and refuse any ftp logins under any other user.  We also enforce
session names and session (Security/3000) passwords.  I haven't had
problems logging in - again, read the relevant parts of the Security
manual carefully.
