How is the 948 not Y2K-compliant?
(I thought there were pretty much no HP3000 Y2K *hardware* issues --
just software issues.)

Jim is right. The 948 and 958 are Second Generation PA-RISC
processors.
These machines are in the same family as the 920, 922 and 932. The
918,
928, 968, 978, and 988 are all fourth generation PA-RISC Processors.
Newer
