In my old archived memory in MPEII ...
Used to be Job tape device is 10, old 1600 BPI tape drive have 4 switch
0,1,2,3
and each button correspond device, like 0 = LDEV7, 1 = LDEV 8, 2= LDEV9
3 = LDEV 10 (Job Tape). So make fcopy from card reader(LDEV 5) to Tape
Drive (LDEV  7, switch is in 0) then turn around push 3 (LDEV 10)
Now copies Job stream from card reader in Tape (Now LDEV 10) will strat
feeding all the job.... About 2 decade ago converting IBM style card to
HP Job tape streams..(stream 10)...

But what does the STREAMS device have to do with the device where the
instructions are coming from. I store jobs on disc and stream them to
device 10 when I want them to run. Following this line of thought, the
card reader could not have been DEV 10 could it?
