Tom,
   Omnidex has been mentioned a few times (thanks everyone!).  In addition
to our well known database indexing, we also have a product known as
"Document Management" which is a feature found only in our version 2
of Omnidex.  It basically allows you to index a flat file as though it
were a dataset and has special intrinsics would find the data and
display the associated file with the keywords highlighted.
