Hi Brian :)
Run SpyBot, AdAware ... you have the classic symptoms of trojans and/or
things like brower hijackers (Jeff Kell posted an awesome list of software
and the url's to get 'em for cleaning computers)

I have several friends/clients/In-Laws running the 9.x version of AOL
without problems... Even my Mom-In-Law is running it... and she would let
me know if the box were crashing :) :) hehehe

Art "Trojans are not virii and won't be cleaned by AntiVirus Software!"
Bahrs

Since I upgraded to this new version of the AOL software I
have had nothing but grief. Every time I exit out of AOL it crashes
my pc. The pc reboots and Win2K goes thru its disk checking procedure.
Everything is always ok and the pc comes up again.

The previous version of AOL doesn't cause my pc to take a nose dive.

My pc is a DELL Dimension XPS T500, running under Windows 2000
Professional,
512 memory, 20 gig hard drive. Never had any trouble with the pc until
this latest version of AOL.

Anyone know why this latest version is causing my pc to crash?

TIA,
Brian.
