Noble pursuit, but I don't think that CSY will invest in HP3000 workstations.

Now X terminals is another matter. If enough people felt it was important,
and it was conveyed to CSY, they might do it. A lot of the parts are there.
I'm quite sure that someone else on the list could comment about needed
steps to get X terminals working on MPE. I know that the X libraries are
old. Also I believe you need tftp working. inetd is ported, right? I don't
have the time to try, I don't even have a 3000 to work on anymore. Maybe
a company like Allegro, Denkart, or WRQ could get working.

What do you mean NFS mount transparently? You want the system to find all
the NFS mount points? Do you want a file to tell the system what to mount?
Quest is suppose to have a NFS; or do you mean that you want NFS inside
the MPE file system?

CSY is moving the MPE work to India. Why? So more people can work on
MPE problems for the buck. Let's hope that the MPE mind set get transfered
to India.
