Developing on the HP3000 is out. If I can manage to use what it has
then I wi|l, but I cannot contemplate writing purpose built servers
on the HP3000 to handle this situation. Mounting the ftp connection
as a user files system o the control host is a convenience insofar
as scripting the control process is somewhat simplified. However, I
can get the same effect by simply polling the HP3000 via ftp before
creating the main ftp session that does all the work.
On that topic. Is there any way to see what active ftp sessions are
connected to the HP3000 and whom they belong to?
