In the Powerhouse PDL dictionary I have this element definition:
E L E M E N T D E T A I L
For DICTIONARY: PDHARTLC.OBJ839
Element: ACCOUNT-NUMBER
Type: Numeric
Size: 8
Decimal Positions: 0
Item Defaults: ZONED-U Size 8
Input Scale: 10 ^ 0
Output Scale: 10 ^ 0
Significance: 8
Picture: "^^^^^^^^" (Blank when zero)
Heading: "Account^Number"
Label: "Account Number"
In a QTP run I have these Subfile and Include statements:
SUBFILE QPCSVAM1 NODICTIONARY KEEP PORTABLE NOAPPEND &
INCLUDE &
QUOTE, &
ACCOUNT-NUMBER, &
The output of which produces this:
....+....10...+ . . .
"+00000001", . . .
My questions are why is an unsigned zoned decimal being output
prefaced with a "+"; and, how does one prevent this?
