There is a programmer that is getting an error when trying to login to
the HP using Programmer Studio. I know absolutely nothing about this
software, and am at a loss to help remedy the situation. (I don't even
know how to execute Programmer Studio!) According to programmer, she
has changed nothing and "it worked before lunch" . We are pretty sure
nothing changed on her workstation, and I know nothing changed on the HP
- users/groups/accounts all look fine.
Programmer Studio pops up a box "Error 25, unable to browse to the
following folder: //HP/ Please check the server profile and try
again." The details say "416:3505 MPE error using AIF, Read probe
failed", then "MPE/iX error 516:1 Read probe failed".
These are her words: With more trial and error, I have found that this
error only occurs on the PUB group in my account. I can browse all the
other groups in my account fine. I am trying to get around this error
by moving my files from PUB to CSC in my account, but can you please try
to find what is causing this problem? I need to get it resolved because
every time I tried to open anything (file or project), it will error if
it defaults to the PUB account.
If anyone can help, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks much
denise
