It works, and is purchasable from HP, not the OpenMarket people.
It's faster than the NCSA free httpd, but I don't know how it compares
with QSS's product.

We've also had little success in getting support for it ... OTOH, we've
only submitted two bug reports:

   1) Two blank lines appearing in the job's spoolfile for every CGI-BIN
      program run.

This was closed (I assume) because the problem isn't an OMWS problem...
it always occurs when *any* process FOPENs/FCLOSEs $stdlist (except
for the pre-defined files 0 & 1). Thus, any Pascal program that
      has: program xxx (output)
or any C program that uses the standard C library will cause two
      spoolfile records to be generated.

   2) The httpd process sometimes stops recording accesses to the access_log
file, apparently because it gets miffed that someone else has the
file open. An SR has been submitted for this. Workaround:
      restart the httpd process.

HP added one feature for us during beta testing of the product:

You can run it with "-consolelog" to cause it to log each http request
to the system console (just like the enhancement I put into the NCSA
   program).
