Andreas,

in general: there is ONE H/W clock and ONE S/W clock.

On the other hand, there is the TZ variable which is used in particular for
some Posix applications.
IF you have applications which will refer to this variable you can set this
variable within a LOGON UDC on account level.

TZTAB.LIB.SYS may give some help as well ...

During the Y2K effort we had a tool called TimeMachine. This could be used
to "travel in time". It may be another option, and again: must be included
in the LOGON-UDC for the affected account(s).

But pay attention to the real dates on files: they may have an influence on
your backup strategy (partial backup based on last accessed date/time
etc.).
I know also from EDI applications that they will react in panic when they
are out of time sync.

Best regards, Andreas Schmidt, CSC, Germany
