Let me clarify... "Blood and carnage" as in layoffs and product line cuts.  You
don't think that will happen?  Inevitable.   No way can HPaq sustain all the R&D
dollars, product support dollars, sales training dollars, and whatever other
dollars are need to keep the whole collection of product lines going.  That's
what makes the consummation of mergers such great fun to watch from the outside,
sort of like two elephants making love.  MUCH more fun than watching from the
inside, believe me... Ben Myers
