Fellow Listers,

Version 8.57 of the Y2K compliant Sleeper has been placed in editcorp's web
site.

This version contains the following enhancements/fixes:

1. Changed the 'toggle' command (that toggles entries between the active and
inactive states) to prompt for a number of iterations that an entry should
remain 'inactive' ([0]-9) and to automatically place an entry into the 'active'
state when the count reaches '0'. This was added to address the situation where
some programmers were 'forgetting' to toggle entries back. The default value is
'0' and it works as it does currently making the entry inactive indefinitely.

2. Fixed an error that prevented successful execution of the 'non default' mail
transport.

3. Updated the on-line help for the 'toggle' command and to clarify the fact
that some portions of the repeat interval specification are optional.

The only files that MUST be replaced are:
SLEEPER
SLEEPER1
SLEEPHLP
Unless you have made any site specific customizations and then I'm sure YOU know
best which files are involved.

Regards
Paul H. Christidis
