> So what does all of this stuff above mean, Gehan? Republicans goof off?
No, I think it shows that republicans seem to take more vacation
days, by far then most dems. Read in to it what you will. I think it
shows a lack of respect personally...

I am not sure, I am tempted to say Republicans actually declare their
time off as time off instead of hiding it in something which looks like
work, but they are policiticans, too, so I don't know.

> While Clinton was playing grabass with Monica, was that work, or vacation?
I belive that would be consided a break, a very sad event to which
I disagree with. I think clinton was an ass of a husband, and those
acts were extremely disrespectfull in many ways. Did that make him a
bad president, leader wise? I think no, Many jerks make great leaders.
I'm not sure what it says for the country as a whole but that's just
my thoughts..

But that is the only 'break' in which he got caught. There were no doubt
more 'breaks', this is an example of trying to hide 'fun' as 'work'.

> Is it possible when a Republican takes time off, it is really time off?
Sure that could be true for any elected official,

> Is it possible when a Democrat is supposed to be working, he is really
> goofing off and calling it 'work'?
Sure that could be true for any elected official,

> How many votes did Senator Kerry miss?
> Was he 'working' then?
I'm really not sure, It wasn't my state(turn) to watch him but I
plan on looking that up later..

> Although counting days off is an objective measure,
> it is too easy to 'hide' fun stuff under the guise of 'work' to be a
> meaningful measure.
Sure that could be true for any elected official,

Personally, in my opinion. I feel that bush has really let me down.
I'm a firm believer in the envionment, jobs, and the debit/buget. All
of which have failed under bush. I know people can argue that the jobs
failed after clinton left office but due to things he set in motion.
But on the whole I don't think bush has done enough to save them. I
deffentlly know that he's done the damage to the envi. since he's been
in office. I've read several of his presidential orders on that. It
makes me cringe everytime I see a headline that says bush just singed
a new executive order. I know that in my heart everything that happens
america falls down a little bit...

Bush has not let me down, in that I did not expect a lot. I look at
Kerry, and I don't see ONE THING which gives me hope.

May we someday rise back up.

I don't think that is going to happen, I think things have gone too
far, and this Republic is in decline.
