We're awaiting delivery of an EMC 3230 with 134 Gbytes configured.
Should be here this week and installed by next week. I had planned to
post a message to the list after we had seen it run for a while. I
plan to do some off-production testing and benchmarking, first, to make
sure all our utilities - particularly backup - work OK.

We wanted to go with a 3500, but it was too big for our elevators and
data center access doors and ramps. :( However, the 3230 will expand
to hold 402 Gbytes raw using 4 Gbyte devices (200 Gbytes mirrored) with
up to 16 FW-SCSI ports. Should be enough to hold us for a time. ;)

We are looking at an EMC 3500 system with 200 Gigabytes of raw disk
space. Anybody out there own or looking at an EMC Symmetrix disk array?
