I have finally got round to network printing. With the aid of the
HP3000-L archives, I can happily (and relatively painlessly) print to
network printers.
However, when I configure a printer with IOCONFIG, I get the following
message on exit:-
ioconfig:AD 1105 PATH=NONE;ID=HPTCPJD
Class(es) updated, so rerun asoctbl.pub.sys to recreate
asociate.pub.sys. ioconfig:EXIT
keeping to group BOOTUP.SYS
Purge old configuration (yes/no)?Automatic yes

Should I worry about this? I have found the comforting words of
Holger Wiemann from last May:-
>here some infos which can help:

>1. You can configure your network printer with IOCONFIG (ID HPTCPJD)
> dynamically. Ignore any warnings while exiting the program.
Is this what was meant; or am I going to lose these configurations
next time we do a START NORECOVERY?
