All,

What do we know about Carly's commitment to the HP e3000? What do we
have, in writing, that we can show to others?

I ask this because it occurred to me that a open letter from Carly in
which she puts a stake in the ground regarding HP's specific
commitments to MPE/iX would be very helpful. The announcement of
another 5 year platform plan would be great.

On a related topic . . .
I looked on http://jazz.external.hp.com for information on HP's
long terms plans for the 3k and there isn't much there. Couldn't
find anything about the so-called 5 year plan. The best I could find
was a two year old announcement from Harry Sterling about the IA 64.
The announcements about the HP e3000 name change and Webwise were
great but are they a last desperate shot or part of a long term
strategy we can rely on? I believe it's probably the latter but
where is the supporting documentation to back that up? Also it would
be great to have a summarized history of the significant additions to
the line in the last 5 years or so. CSY marketing please take note.
