Hi Peter,

use K8 as image field type and update type to date or date/time
within IMAGESQL. The only drawback is that utilities like Query
can't deal with field type K8.

Hope this helps. Best regards...

|Betreff: [HP3000-L] ODBC data type between IMAGE/SQL vs MS/Access
|Datum: Freitag, 30. Oktober 1998 13:10
|
|Hi, All
|
|I enjoy both world of technology between HP3000/with IMAGE (Cobol) with
|
|MS/Acess VB world and use ODBC/32. so far, fast turn around on new
|application.
|About 2000 faster than COBOL and 100 time faster than power house product.
|
|Anyway I got into little miss link betwen both, I like to make time stamp on
|MDB
|style (MS Access 97) using date/time but there is no compatable field on
|HP/3000
|Image /SQL.
|
|Any Idea?
|TIA, Peter C.
