the comment from the man page kinda surprised me. i was hoping it might mean there
was a way for an average soul to get <whatever> to say 'more'. i know how extensible
some of the posix programs are....and thought there might be some trick i hadn't
heard of.
since i started this thread....i think i better say something more positive. i
didn't mean for this to turn into another spleen-venting session. i think i've got a
fair understanding of how busy and thinly-stretched folks are at csy. and believe
me, i appreciate all the hard work. but it's frustrating dealing with long-standing
issues. - d
