After doing some research I found the following information about power
patch 2 for c.75.00.

C.75.02: as of 7/15/2004

Patch MPEMXN8 marked bad and C.75.02 PowerPatch on hold

Patch MPEMXN8 has been marked bad because of a defect found in it. This
patch was General Release on MPE/iX 7.5 and was Beta Test on 6.5 and 7.0.
As a result patches which supersede it on MPE/iX 6.5 (MPEMXM0C) and 7.0
(MPEMXM0B & MPEMXQ4A) have also been marked as bad.

The symptoms of the problem are system abort 948 or 950 during stores to
parallel devices.

Reactive patch MPEMXQ6 is being developed to correct this problem.

If customers who already have it (c.75.02) and are planning on installing
it. Veto patch MPEMXN8C during the installation or wait for the next
release of the power patch.

Hopefully this will clean up any confusion on this problem.

If you have any question please let me know.

Best Regards
