Absolutely they are grey market.  HP has no official stance on them,
other than they want the market to go away.

Remember that HWP will include one year onsite support when you buy
new..  Make sure you factor in this value in determining your true
cost.

Also -- have you requested that HP quote you *USED* hardware?!!  They
will if you ask them to. It is usually a heck of a deal, and I have
seen enduser pricing around 50% off of list for some models.
